Within the past week, Laura and I drove to visit my immediate family at
South Carolina! That was a total drive of
16 hours one way. We sure added some miles to Laura's new Honda CR-V (we figured she needed a better
family car). Well, the main purpose of taking the trip to SC was to see my brother, Brian, and cousin, Aimi, graduate from High School. I am very proud of Brian and all of his accomplishments, he graduated with Magna Cum Laude and tons of cords. Laura and I stayed at my father's home and got to know his wife, Mi, and son, Andy. I also spent sometime with my mom and visited her new store,
T's Mini Asian Market.
Everyone seemed excited to see Laura and I especially with the pregnancy. My mom said she would come the month after the baby is born and host a
Vietnamese baby shower. My dad and his family stated they would come visit after the baby is born as well. I hope they can stay a while since we will need all the help we can get! Laura is now 29 weeks and we are counting down. We have a OBGYN appointment this Friday, I'll keep everyone updated on the status of the pregnancy.
