We hear you son!

Today, Laura had her 26-week appointment with the OBGYN.  The Doctor stated everything is going well and she has really good growth with her baby bump.  I think Laura has a beautiful bump...I know she was worried about growing wide instead of growing outward.  I will have to take some pics of her bump soon and let everyone see the progress.

During today's appointment we were able to listen to the baby's heartbeat.  He definitely has a strong heart and sounds healthy.  We were able to record the main portion of it and wanted to share it with everyone.

Today we met an Angel...

Today was one of the best days that Laura and I have had in a while.  As most people probably know, Anjelah Johnson is our favorite comedian.  She is well known for her Nail Salon comedy skit,  She also starred in the movies: Alvin and the Chipmunks 2 - The Squeakquel and Our Family Wedding.  Trust us, she is hilarious!

Laura and I have always wanted to see Anjelah perform her act live, so about a month ago, we discovered she would be performing today at the University of Texas at Arlington, however seats were limited to 750 seats and students and faculty/staff/alumni were allowed to purchase them first.

The Sweetest News Ever...

We are having a BOY!
Well, it has been so long since we last blogged, but we had to delay things until we told all the important people in our lives the gender of our baby.  Last week the doctor officially told us we're having a son.  So Laura came up with an idea to spread the news in a fun way; by ordering custom cupcakes.  So I went and ordered some cupcakes to surprise everyone.  I ordered yellow cake with either blue or pink filling inside, depending on the gender.  I also asked for white frosting with blue and pink sprinkles on top.  So once our family and friends bit into the cupcake they would obviously see blue filling and know that we are having a son!  Here are some photos from the precious moments...

My Rock

I really don't blog. But this post is dedicated to my love. We've been through a lot together within the past 4 1/2 years of our lives together. We've had our ups & downs and there were time when I wanted to pull my hair out.

I want you to know that I am always thinking about you and I honestly don't know what I would do without you. You are My Rock.

I love you. Life would not be the same without you.  I have never met anybody who was so patient, selfless and kind hearted. You have taught me a lot through out the years. You make me want to be a better person every day.

Its amazing how we both grew up in different states and we found each other. I wish we would've of known each other when we were both younger, but then maybe we wouldn't be where we are today.

The best gift that I can ever give to you...is our beautiful baby. I know you're going to be a great Dad. I love you fonzy :)
