Almost there!

Mason is trying so hard to crawl. Lately, he's been pushing his self backwards and rocking back and forth on his knees. He's such a strong baby. In the background we have one of his favorite Viet DVDs on, he loves it.

We usually put him on his tummy in the middle of his play mat with his V-Tech Crawl ball and the next thing we know hes off the mat and in the corner! He's going to be on the go real soon.

We're also in the process of organizing his playroom, so please excuse the mess.

                                           

32 weeks old!

Mason's shots

A little over a week ago we took Mason to get his shots and to get tested for anemia. So my poor baby got pricked on his legs and little finger! I wish I could get the shots for him so he wouldn't have to feel any pain. It always makes me upset to see him cry.

A visit to Grandma's and Grandpa's house

This past week we all traveled to Dallas and visited Grandma and Grandpa.   Mason enjoyed the visit since we all spent a few hours together.  After the visit, we took Grandma to a restaurant to go eat lunch where we met up with Uncle Johnny and Aunt Vanessa.  We also discovered they are expecting a new addition to the family, which will be a girl.  Looks like Mason will have a cousin his age coming soon.  It was a good trip and visit that we all enjoyed.

Our little man is 31 weeks old!

Observation

We just discovered an alternative from watching television for Mason.  He now enjoys sitting on his new high chair and looking out our living room window.  He likes to watch the people walk by, cars drive by, and especially the dogs that stroll by our apartment.   This past Monday we had a very bad storm come through the Metroplex and Mason enjoyed every minute of it.  His favorite part of all of this is when we slide open the window and he can clearly hear all of the sounds from the outside.

An unscheduled Doctor's visit

Last night Mason did not feel well and had a 101 degree fever.  He also has a horrible cough and running nose.  So obviously if he can't sleep neither could we...it was a long night!

 We went to the Doctor's office today and discovered he has an ear infection.  Hopefully with the prescribed antibiotics, the Nguyen household will be back to normal soon.

Dear Mommy,

I might not be able to speak yet but I understand everything you say when you talk to me.  I know how to appreciate all the little things you do for me.  I smile not just because I can, but instead its because I want to.  I don't laugh just to entertain you, but instead it is because you make me giggle.   Just to let you know, when I make that high pitched scream, it means "I love you".
